Exile Manning to Elba

That’s it, it is all over, Peyton Manning needs to be done away with. Whoever thought this guy was any good please put your hand up, now take a hammer and knock yourself over the head. What were you people thinking? It is plain to see that this man is a no talent bum. IF the Colts decided to keep this guy, instead of letting Jim Sorgi start they are not very smart. I mean really, the Colts are wasting all this time and effort in Peyton Manning and the likes of Drew Brees and Jake Plummer may be available this off-season.

After seven long arduous seasons of pain and misery that Manning has put the Colts through it is certainly time to give it up. I mean really, after the 1989 Super Bowl route the Broncos most certainly gave up on John Elway, he could never win anything. Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills, where does he stand in the pantheon of great QB’s, certainly he cannot be a Hall of Famer. After six seasons of bouncing around the league Hank Stram just gave up on Len Dawson when he was in his late 20’s, I mean could you ever win a championship with someone as terrible as Len Dawson? Four seasons of splitting time with Billy Kilmer and five seasons of mediocre football was enough for Joe Gibbs to just give up on Joe Theismen. What shot does Manning deserve, absolutely none if you ask me.

It is not just about Manning’s lack of production, but his selfishness and total lack of professionalism. How could this guy just come out after another road playoff loss and complete blast his teammates. What a jerk? Not only his teammates but his coach’s he has had in his career in Indianapolis, Jim Mora & Tony Dungy. Both of these guys are proven winners, heck their combined playoff record before they coached Manning is a Lombardi like 2 wins & 7 losses. How dare they be so good without Manning and so terrible with him? How can Manning expect to ever win a playoff game with his lack of preparation and training? I mean this guy dogs it everyday on the practice field and he just expects to go out there and win playoff games. Sorry Peyton it does not work that way.

This guy has no credential to ever be a Hall of Fame QB. I mean Peyton if you do not win a Super Bowl you have to go down with the likes of Ernie Banks, Dan Marino, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and Barry Bonds as one of the most over hyped athletes of all time. All those guys could not get it done, just like you can. We in America cannot stand around and watch people like you foul up our great country.

It is obvious to me, and ever other clear thinking football fan that Manning does not deserve another season as an NFL quarterback, much less any more time in our beloved America. Last time I checked, America was for winners only. So I think the best thing for Manning to do is to pack his bags and get the heck out. Send him to Elba like the French did with Napoleon that is the only way.

I get the sarcasm but my thing is that you've either got it or you dont. 10 times out of 10 playing playground football i would pick peyton over tom brady, but Brady wins BIG games...PERIOD. People (if they knew who i was) would jump my ass for saying that, but it's true. You can talk all the big shit about, well Peyton has no D- fuck that shit. here ya go...first two games against FLORIDA in peyton's career, 1994 #1 FLA @ #15 UT 31-0 , 1995 #8 UT @ #4 FLA 37-62....both teams were good football teams, i cant find peyton's stats, but ill give him a break because he was a fresh/soph and he led them to a 19-5 record over his first 24 games. ok, so what about junior and senior year you say. 1996 #4 FLA @ #2 UT 35-29, peyton 4-4 (td/int) with his 4 td's coming in the second half comeback...not bad playing DANNY WURRRRRRFULLLL( i know he was the heisman winner, but so was gino torretto and rashan salaam). alright, so he's gotta get it done his senior year, right? 1997 #4 UT @ #2 FLA 20-33 peyton 3-2, not bad and his defense (with AL Wilson and others) was good that year. last two seasons in the biggest games of his career against the Pats peyton has 5 ints and 1 td. Alright, he did win a SEC championship (barely) but i just dont think peyton's got it. something happens to this brilliant qb when he gets to a game that will put him in a position to win national championships or a super bowl. obviously, he's easily a hall of fame qb, obviously he could start and star for MY BENGALS and probably lead them to their first playoffs since 1989. peyton will go down as a great qb, better than stram and marino, better than most every qb EVER. he's that good, but ppl would be pissed if MJ had never won the NBA title. they would have been pissed if Tiger won every tournament except a major. It wont define peyton's career if he never wins a big game, but there's something you have to have respect for someone who can go into big games and have the game go their way most of the time. where was the peyton that yelled at reggie wayne earlier in the season? sometimes being a team player and unselfishly can cost you---like when your team is counting on you to score points because their D sucks. hell, shaq is a team player during the regular season, but if the heat want to win a championship, you know where the ball is going. i just pulled a RONDO on your blog!!!!!!!!!!!
