First I need to address comment #9 in the previous post. Andrew, if I am not mistaken I think that is the draft that you and I were on the telephone for that entire draft. That was a fun time. I remember our joint disdain over the Frederic Weis pick. Frederic Weis, are you fucking serious, oh how I long for the days when we draft quality players like Jerrod Mustaff.
Why do “generations” have to be associated with a name or letter? Really, I was reading an article today about “generation y” entering the workforce and the changes they are making in the professional world. Then the article went on to explain generation x was people born in the late 60’s up to mid 70’s and generation y was the post 1980’s types. So then what the hell am I? I nee a label too, why can’t I be generation upper case Y?
The end of the year always brings me such excitement when I think about all the good movies that are coming out. Then I realize that I will not see most of them because, well I live in Columbia, an oft, entered theme in my life. So if anyone comes across Bee Season or Paradise Now let me know how they are.
I was at the dentist the other day and I was thinking about when I was younger people always talked about Dental Hygienists, and how they were supposed to be hot and sexy. Well that is bullshit. I have yet to meet an attractive dental assistant in my life. And I have been to dentists in 4 different states. The other day my Hygienist was old, ugly and for a kicker had bad teeth. To quote Cliff Klavin, “What’s up wit dat?”
What is going on in France now? Some sort of riots, French people mauling each other?
Should I care about this? Please someone help me. I really hope this erupts into a full scale orgy of death. That would rock, the less French people the better.
I guess the Colts are a pretty good football team. Now we are going to get the inevitable, “well this ain’t the playoffs yet.” “It doesn’t count until the post season.” Yeah clowns, I know. But all you can predict the post season on is what happens in the regular season. Now the Colts will most likely loss a game or two, but they have two important things in their favor. First, they no longer have a mental block when playing the Patriots. Second, they are going to get home field advantage, which will be key for them in the playoffs. I really think they have a shot; they look very dominant on both sides of the ball.
What is the deal with bags? Why do people need bags all the time, when they are going to the mall or to work or wherever? Have you ever notice this phenomenon? This lady was going into work the other day, and she amounts to what would be considered a phone jockey, yet she had three bags she was carrying in with her. Did she take work home last night, and if so what kind of work? I just don’t get it; I rarely if ever need a bag going to and from work.

I just got back from San Fran and boy is my ass tired. Seriously, what the heck is the deal with coffee??? Anybody ever been out there will agree. San Franians cannot operate without 4 cups of coffee in their hands at all times!
I say the Knicks turn for the worst started before the Artest draft. I pin point it to the 1996 draft where they had 3 1st round picks and wasted them all on PF's: John Wallace, Walter McCarty, and Dontae Jones..... I believe none of them played on the team 2 years after that.
Well there's no argument that the Weis over Artest move was worse, but to have 3 mid 1st round picks and come away with nothing is just terrible. That blazed forth a path of terrible draft day decisions by the Knicks.
