Classless
Sorry ladies and germs, I am slightly indisposed at the moment. I am at the MCI Heritage Golf Classic. Luckily there is a tent were I can access the internet for free.
Unortunately I did not see last nights incident live, I only heard about it on the radio this morning on my way to the beach. When I go home I flicked on SportsCenter to check out what took place. All I can say is typical classless Red Sox fans. Not much else can be said. This is not the first time they have attacked Yankee players. Last time I checked I do not remember Yankee fans attacking anyone on the Red Sox.
The Yankees as an organization have continualy shown class throughout all this nonsense with the Sawx over the last 2 seasons. In the pre season I seem to remember Red Sox players attacking the character and desire of Alex Rodriguez. How did the Yankees respond, well basically all of them said no comment (yes Randy Johnson responded that he was ready for a fight if the Red Sox started one). Then in the face of the biggest ring and banner ceremony to ever grace a baseball diamond (and I have no problem with them going all out) the Yankees, all of them, stood there on the steps of the dugout and continualy cheered for the World Champion Red Sox. Heck, even Mariano Rivera gave a bow when Sawx fans cheered him. If a Red Sox player had been in Rivera's position he probably would have flipped the crowd off.
One organization has class, and one doesn't. It is that simple.

I was happy to see Sheff restrain himself, because he had every right to beat that fan like the O's beat the Yankees last night. Red Sox fans are the scum of the baseball world. There is no room in sports for people who act like they do. You would think their miracle season last year would be enough, but no. I am tired of fans who think they can bother players. Did Sheffield go to that guy's office and bother him while he was on the job? NO!!!! I think snipers should be posted on the top of every park and every time a fan lets their hand get over the wall, POP, no more hand. Maybe that will stop the nonsense.
Fuck the Yankees!!! The organiztion that single handedly ruined the sport should not be praised for it's "class". Arod looked real classy last year when he smacked Bronson Arroyo because he knew he was going to be out at first. Clemens looked real classy when he knew he couldn't get Mike Piazza out so he drilled him in the head, and then fired a spear at him during the world series. Yep, that's class all right!!! true the Red Sox and their fans are the biggest bunch of scum bags nect to the Raiders in all of sports, but the Yanks are not the model to look up to.
